I wasn’t brought up in a Christian home, and I had some of the same questions many people have: how do I know God is there?  Can I really trust the scriptures?  If God is good, how come the world is a mess?

But what I did gain, over time, was a Christian friend I trusted, to whom I could ask my questions.  Many people don’t have that.  They do have sincere, significant questions, but no “safe place” in which to ask them.

That’s where Theology on Tap comes in.  We meet at a bar, enjoy a beer, and mull over the questions people have.  It’s not a lecture.  It’s not an argument.  It’s an honest, guided discussion with multiple perspectives, into the biggest questions we face.
