JOHN HEVER
TEACHING PASTOR AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION
John is a dad of 4 and husband of 1, and has pastored and planted churches over his 34-year ministry career at places like Ball State and Southern Illinois.
He’s from Muncie, Indiana and earned a degree from the Medical College Of Ohio in Physical Therapy, then a Master’s degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary.
John also “did time” at THE Ohio State University. John loves kayaking, fishing, and brewing his own beer.
He and his wife, Jana, have been married for 32 years.
JIM POORMAN
TEACHING PASTOR AND COLLEGE PASTOR
Jim is from Cleveland, Ohio, plays ice hockey, loves motorcycles and loves football. He has a degree in Graphic Design from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Jim has helped lead churches for over 30 years. He leads our H2O College Group Ministry, teaches on Sundays and is involved in discipleship. He loves to develop and train young leaders and build relationships with those who are far from God.
Jim & his wife Allison have been married for 28 years, have 5 kids, (4 boys and a girl) and love doing ministry together.
STEVE REED
COUNSELING AND CARE PASTOR
Steve has a Masters in Counseling Degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary and leads a ministry called Deeper Waters Counseling.
He specializes in family and marriage counseling as well as mental health and addiction counseling.
Steve and Dawn have been married for 29 years, and have 3 kids.
Steve is an incredible listener, and is a major reason that H2O is a safe place to be a broken person.
ALLISON POORMAN
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR/ RADIANT WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Allison is also Splash Kids Ministry Coordinator, loves kids and her unique skills serve our families well. Allison is also a member of the H2O Leadership Team.
Allison leads our Radiant Women’s Ministry along with a team of other women.
Allison is a Mom of 5 so if she can stay Radiant then we have proof of God’s grace.
She is an accomplished opera singer and can rip a golf ball a long way…and catch bass…impressive.
KATHY ZELLINGER
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Kathy has served in a variety of roles with Reliant since 1986 and presently is the Staff Liason.
Kathy is incredibly gifted, can manage multiple projects at one time and never miss a detail all with a smile on her face. Honestly, none of us have ever seen her stressed out…we don’t understand how she does it…she’s an amazing example to us all.
Kathy helps organize systems, financial operations and numerous details that nobody else would think of.
