VISION 500

VISION 500

“the church is ONLY THE CHURCH when it exists for others”

Naysayers in America claim that American Christians are CONSUMERS…that we don’t CONTRIBUTE to a church family but rather that we attend, enjoy what the church has to offer and benefit from it greatly but we often don’t OFFER anything ourselves. In other words…we’re in it for US…NOT for others.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the great Jesus follower said this about this issue…”the church is ONLY THE CHURCH when it exists for others.” We agree.

We don’t want to be part of this problem but rather be part of the solution…to help the church become a place where we ALL contribute…with our gifts and talents, with our time and service and with our finances.

So many people tell us that especially in the area of finances that they either don’t know WHAT they should give, or don’t trust organizations with their giving or they’ve been burned by churches…and that’s totally legit and we get it.

That being said our goal for 2017 is to GROW TO 500 PEOPLE! Why? Very simply because that means hundreds more that have had their lives changed by Jesus. We ARE NOT concerned with numbers but concerned with PEOPLE…and each number signifies a HUMAN life that has been transformed! We call it VISION 500 and we are asking everyone in our church who DO NOT GIVE AT ALL to begin giving at $100 monthly…it’s incredible to see what we can accomplish when we all pitch in!
Help us make H2O a place where we ALL contribute and it all does not fall on a select few people…we think God wants that to change…and as a result we will have the resources to serve others and provide care for 500 PEOPLE like we’ve always dreamed of!!!
